Rick Dingle

VP Customer Product Engineering

Rick is responsible for all customer-specific engineering, validation and customer support at Icera.

Prior to joining Icera in 2005, Rick was Senior Vice President Product Development and Chief Technology Office at Siemens Mobile, where he had overall responsibility for building Siemens’ mobile phone platform strategy, bringing over 50 phones to market. In addition, Rick was responsible for worldwide R&D of all mobile telephony products at Siemens, managing engineering teams in nine locations across five countries. During this time, he also sat on the Symbian supervisory board. Rick joined Siemens from Ericsson Mobile Phones, where he initially led the successful development of a number of global satellite terminals. In 1999, he became Director of European Activities for High Volume Products, where he was responsible for leading one of Ericsson’s GSM development teams. He started his career as a software engineer at Plessey and subsequently held a number of software development management positions at GEC and GPT. Rick has a BSc in Mathematics from Nottingham University and a post graduate degree in Business Management.
