Livanto® soft baseband
Uniquely in software: Livanto® is unique because it is the only baseband modem implementing all cellular modem functions 100% in software on a new type of wireless signal processor, DXP®, or Deep Execution® Processor, designed by Icera. DXP® is capable of executing tens of billions of arithmetic operations per second. The Livanto architecture makes use of a common shared set of dense unified memories, contributing to a substantial reduction in silicon die size and therefore cost and leakage power.
